Can you get me that big rock on the trail honey!😇
Years ago when Silvertop was a “ flatlander”, a co worker of mine asked…………
“If they know all these rocks are alone the road, and they might roll down and hit a car, why don’t they just move all of them!”😊
Hmmm……….
At the time Silvertop was relocating to Colorado……the “Rocky Mountains !”😊

Liz has told me she wants this bolder you see in the first and second photo!🥰
Yes honey, if Keith is OK with it, I will put it in my backpack on our next hike!🥰🤣
The weather changed quickly from the sunny day yesterday, that’s springtime in the Northwest!😅
With my raincoat tucked into my backpack…….sorry Liz no room for that bolder today Lol, Silvertop hiked back to “Soaring Eagles”.
Twice I pulled out the raincoat, and then repacked it away, that’s how the weather was today!
Keith has contracted a crew to clear out some of the young deciduous trees on this hillside, to help the Douglas Firs grow without competing with the underbrush.
Very hard work ….these guys are using gasoline weed eaters with metal cutting blades, also a dangerous job!
The sounds of the weed eaters echoed off the hillsides, to the North loggers were running heavy equipment, on a section of Forest that they were harvesting.
A busy day…………
Life can be that way……..
Just remember to balance work with some healthy fun time…….after all the weekend is here!🤗
