FLOOR TILE UPDATE FOR DECEMBER 8th ....I AM FINISHED.... ALMOST!!!!!!!

Hi guys, well this is the final post on this project, and except for waiting three days and then sealing the grout this project is done!
So let me tell you what I am doing, and how I finished this.
In this picture you will see my supervisor..... everything is either something to eat or something to drink LOL!

First I used sanded ceramic tile caulk at the front door threshold and anywhere the edge of the tile with grout will be seen. You don't want to grout to a wall or a threshold, because everything expands and contracts. This is why sidewalks have sections, a wise man once said concrete is going to crack so give it a crack.... or in this installation a flexible perimeter.

Then I found in the same brand-an exact color match in a polymer fortified grout.
The better half said use # 60 charcoal, this will hide any dirt in the grout joints in the future and really adds a punch to the look.
This is kind of like mixing cement with Rit dye........ did I say gloves?
I did this final step in two evenings, and after the first I pulled off my blue nitrile only to discover I had a hole in one glove and I now have a black finger, I put on two gloves the following day!!!
So here we have the finished floor!

I am very happy with this project, and on the other side of the great room there are two patio door side by side and the Wife wants me to tile this with the same tile.......
