My Actifit Report Card: December 20 2021
Winter has arrived !………..🥶
Busy, busy, Christmas is almost here!😊
With tomorrow being the shortest day of the year, Silvertop and the Mrs needed an early hike, the Sun is dropping fast, and then one last stocking stuffer run to town!😇
A cold nor’easter has been blowing all night, and into the day! The Sun was shining, but it was still a cold hike!
“Let’s hike to the cabin at the High Trail Liz”. That’s a good hike, then we can throw another log on the fire, and run to town for one last day Christmas shopping”!☺️
Much of the snow has turned to ice pack, I told Liz and our friend Jan to be careful……..
We passed our new neighbor at the tiny house, he is building an outdoor building for a Propane fired instant hot water heater, and the electric water pump.
He said he was working a bit, and then going back inside to warm up!🥶
I told him I understood……..
Silvertop was an electrician in the High County of Colorado, and you can only work so long outside in extreme cold weather, frostbite is a very real danger!
The three of us hiked onward uphill……

We had little daylight left when we hiked back to our home. We were both tempted to just stay in our nice warm home for the evening. Liz made a Latte for Silvertop, and a Mocha for herself, and we grabbed our coats and headed to town!
Darkness as we pulled back in our drive………….
Liz, I think we are finally finished!😇
