Darkness.... that’s our @actifit hike now! So today before the Mrs got home, Silvertop ran to town to pick up some more pallets for fire starting.
It was such a nice day, the storm clouds were building over Sumas Mountain, but the Sun was still trying to peek through !!😎
So Silvertop made a left turn......😇
This is Nugents Corner, this is a small primitive county park that has access to the Nooksack river.
Many hiking trails along the banks of this river, the Mrs really needs to join me in a hike here!🥰
They tell us that IF Mount Baker, the Volcano in our backyard even blows.........This river, at this spot, would be a Lahar, a mixture of mud , water, and Volcanic lava!😳
Just not today, Silvertop is hiking!!😇
When the Mrs got home, Jan joined us for our “night” hike!😊
It’s Friday, and we started earlier, so we were able to get higher up into the Mountains network of trails. 48 uphill floors, that’s a keeper......🤗
