Community Smartnode Pool update - Collateral changing from 10,000 per smartnode to 100,000

What does this mean for our community smartnode pool?

Not very much to be honest, we currently hold around 93,600 smartcash in our pool of 7 smartnodes. There will be a smartreward payment coming on the 25th but im not sure when the switch happens to be honest. As far as i am aware, they are testing it in beta now and expect it to roll out within a month if not a little sooner. This does require another long assed wallet update but it has to be done and to be honest im looking forward to it for a few reasons. Firstly we pay $5 each month for each smartnode which is currently $35 per month, under the new 100k smartnode, we will only pay for one VPS instantly saving us $30 per month, secondary looking after and updating 1 smartnode is much better for me as each wallet update requires as node to be updated 1 at a time on the VPS window. I know almost nothing about what the new payout's system will be but i will update as i find things out. Getting the extra 6000 smartcash is not a thing to worry about. I will be checking in on the smartcash discord everyday for updates to see what's happening and when.

There's 2 ways we can do this?

We need an extra 5000-6000 smartcash to get to the 100,000 smartcash mark. The first way to get there would be me buying the 6000 which i dont mind are second way would be offer it up as a final chance to get extra smartcash in the pool. This would be only open to members that are already involved to make the whole thing easier and be sold in batches of 500 smartcash which is currently around 18 STEEM. Believe it are not, that only like $5 as smartcash is around a penny atm. Im easy either way, if you would like to buy up some and have a bigger slice of the pool, let me know in the comment below and i'll edit a table into the post.

This is a snap from an update released on the 30th of Jan 2019. There are no dates which is common with smartcash, it's annoying but they always do what they say which is better than 99% of crypto promises out there. This should be a good thing for us fingers crossed. We are currently running on version 1.2.5 so a big update is due. Th new 100,000 needed also means that fewer people will have smartnode's increasing payouts to holders (us). It does also mean that a the control of the coin fate is in a small number of hands also giving smartcash whales more control. Me personall, i dont really care, the 100,000 smartnode will be easier to manage and as long as smartcash hits $1 before i die, it all the same.
