💗😍MY SILVER COMMUNITY BOX😍💗
In a previous article, my lovely friend @dreemsteem commented how it must be a honor to have a first silver pour from someone.
As a follow-up to our conversation, I want to share a bit of history of how the "Silver Community Box" came to be.
The YT Silver Community Box
A box to hold silver pours from stackers in the community,
A Very Special Hand Made Gift from Silver Diva
This is a video snippet of that time when I first placed my hand-poured community pours in the box.
At that time, there were only a handful of silver pourers. The size of the box was perfect, given the number of pourers .
MeZeke had not started pouring in youtube yet at that time. Losing Louie just completed a batch of silver guitar picks. vulcan5678 was mastering his craft of wood pours using small crucibles at that time. Matthew Smallwood was discovering his creativity with unique art pours carving his ouwn grapbite molds. The master caster from the UK, 11ribert11, was the only known cast pourer in youtube who were in our community. Hiho Silver, who has inspired many to join the youtube community of stacker/pourers, just started his second channel, the Bunker Bullion channel. Two stackers' channels had their bars produced by foundries (and still are): YPS for Silver Slacker and QSB for Salivate Metal .
Silver Diva and I really thought that this size box would be sufficient... just the right size and large enough to display all channel bars and pours.
In a few months and with more new (and old)pourers joining the community, this was how my Silver Community Box was looking:
And a couple months after...
Then it was just a matter of months when I filled a second booty box, also a gift from Silver Diva!
Since the above photo, there have been many more additions to my booty box exclusively housing silver made by community members. The majority of these are now stored away in a monster box.

The Display Cabinet behind me has long run out of room of my very special fun Silver and has become impossible to properly and proudly display each Community silver I've received since I first set sail.
Isn't it true, Sis.... in looking back to our beginnings and the silver we have accumulated, it makes us so very proud of our accomplishment of setting aside pieces of value... that a portion of the fruit of our daily labor is preserved. That's the one thing I don't have is a community box. I offten go in to charity shops (you Yanks call them thrift stores) looking for old style boxes, but haven't come across one yet
I shall start calling them charity chops, LOL! Get one, @welshstacker, for fun! When it gets filled, you can transfer the silver contents to something more for long-term storage, then start over again. Then it becomes much more fun, LOL!

You are too kind in your remarks, @stokjockey. I am nowhere close to most of the stackers here. I do know that the true stacker (and I consider myself one) never really shows the entire stack nor talks about how much it is. So I can only imagine how large the stacks of most of the people in youtube and ssg. I am just a small-time stacker.
I have to admit... All that Silver sure looks nice...
