I have featured several Arizona Assay silver ingots on Steemit. After aquiring my first, it was very evident to me that they were special in their own way. My posts here included different varities as well as the historical information behind them. In my eyes, they are a full package ingot. They demonstrate all the charactoristics collectors are looking for..
The vintage silver ingot market is young. Many people see vintage poured silver sell for incredible premiums. The high prices can be very intimidating!But what if those high premium prices were not even close to the TRUE potential?
Case and point: Over the past couple years Arizona Assay ingots were selling in the $800 - $1700 range. Depending on quality, increment, and condition. The price reference pertains to the 5oz class. There was an auction that ended today. The first time an AAO ingot has hit the auction block in a LONG time.

This is the type of return this market is capable of providing. Is the market at its peak? Or Is it just getting started? Many people believe it is too late to get in. Great question! It's important to strike while the iron is hot. However, I do believe there is an amazing future for these. We are not at the top. I will hold for now. Hopefully my children can enjoy them down the road✌.
