Tight fit TV install .... 🐳

☝️ A flawless TV install! I prepped the cut out for the to be an inch and a half larger than the demension of the 47" Samsung Tv. The cut out is 6 inches deep. The 2inch gap allows for the tv bracket hooks to go up and sit down on the wall bracket. A type of french hook. With out that space you will not be able to drop in a tv with a flat or tilt mount. I did have to pad out the TV significantly. This makes the wall flush with the TV. Using an articulating bracket would allow for an easier/tighter install. The articulating bracket I had intefered with the electrical box behind the TV. Which forced me to use a flat mount. I am pretty happy with the way this TV came out. Its amazing how much space a wall mounted takes up. A lot of which is a mental presence. Keep trying new things!

The renovation been a fun project overall. It forced me to step out of my comfort zone and get creative. I have enjoyed it! Of course, now that my wife's saw how these came out. She is already looking for space to put similar shelving. I will never win....
