The progress of the sickness ..
As the years go by in my collecting journey. I find myself developing interest in areas I never would have considered before. It's almost like evolving. As the knowledge and influences fill your brain over time.
I do believe it is important to try and focus most of your energy in one area when collecting. I try to practice that theory as best I can. However, I have enjoyed dipping my toes into other markets. .
A couple weeks ago. I had an hour of free time. Which is a very odd event in my life! I sat in a chair at my local coin shop. Flipping through massive binders of tokens. Each binder had a label on the side. Advertising, sports, and automotive for example..
I actually ended up finding a couple tokens that sparked my interest. Strong enough where I ended up buying them. I am going to highlight a couple examples here on this post below.
The first example is a sterling silver Nevada charm. A killer slot machine in the center. Toning is out of this worlddd! The other item is a US Mint of Philadelphia charm. I enjoy items relating to the US Mint.
I was impressed when looking through hundred of tokens. The history is rich in very unique material. I hope to learn more and enjoy this process..
