**This is my FIRST pre 1900 silver ingot. Dated 1869 out of Austin, Nevada. With a weight of 1.55oz. Not a fantasy ingot. This is believed to be an authentic example. It's polished finished and consistent font style were a couple of the factors that validate it being from this time period.
At this time pre 1900 silver ingots are at a low in value. High publicised auctions have unknowingly sold counterfeit ingots. Causing the market to be conservative in buying. At one time an ingot like this could value over $5,000.00.
