Deak International Promo...

My passion for silver carries over into many different areas. The last couple years I have found myself drawn into the promotional items. There are some amazing collectable items that have unique history with some of my favorite refiners. Here is a very cool piece that I purchased on EBay. .

This 1oz Deak International promotional item is a great deal piece. It's a stand up piece that houses 1oz of .999 silver circular beads with in a type of lucite. It's see through and very detailed. I assume it was produced late 1970s or early 1980s. Has some great detail. Check out the tassles on the sides with the word Deak...

Deak International has an AMAZING story. Production took place out of Australia. They produced silver ingots that looked identical to the 1kg Engelhard Australia silver ingots. Aside from the amount of silver they produced. The owners were involved in HEAVY international money laundering. An old organized crime type story. I encourage anyone who has the slightest interest to do some research.

I figured this would be a different post that shows a unique silver collectable. It's not always about the silver bar's right? Its been fun stepping into this space and I hope this inspires people to do the same. I will share more promo items as my steemit journey continues.
