Why was conspiracy theory created in the United States?

Looking at the writings of my esteemed American senior, I thought about why conspiracy theory and the shadow government were so famous in America. I came to this conclusion by comparing the history of East Asia and the United States. The United States is a young country 300 years old, while East Asia is 4,000 years old.

East Asia and Europe are similar because they have a long history, culture, religion, tradition, feudalism and imperialism. So, even if I'm not good at English, conversations with Europeans are easier than Americans. East Asians and Europeans were strongly conservative in their efforts to maintain historical pride and tradition.

Americans, on the other hand, are hard to understand. As I learned European history, Roman Catholic ideas were easy to understand. However, American history and ideas were strange.

While Europeans boast of their history, traditions, cultures and religions, Americans talk about the present and the future. The writings of American seniors also wrote about the theory of conspiracy and the mystery of the shadow government, not American history, tradition, culture, ideas, art, and religion. 45-year-old Koreans like me are interested in American history, culture, traditions and religion. By the way, American seniors usually say fantasy novels. American seniors appear to be over 60 years old, and it's amazing how often they post news like fantasy novels. I felt cultural differences between Korea and the United States.

I thought about why Americans are interested in conspiracy theories. The United States is younger than East Asia and Europe. America was equal to all Americans without emperors, popes, kings, and nobility. East Asians and Europeans tend to sacred and idolize emperors, popes, kings and nobles. However, Americans idolize entertainers such as movie stars and singers. East Asia and Europe are like the elderly, with a strong emphasis on status, class, ancestry, tradition, and history, while young American value popular popularity and fun.

Above all, the United States was a new world of diverse races, cultures, religions and ideas. Hence, the emphasis was on news and information that gave all Americans a common spotlight and interest, rather than religion, history, traditions, or pedigree in East Asia and Europe.

So, as a Korean, I'm interested in America's history, traditions, culture, religion, life, and people, and it's amazing that Americans claim that alien reptilians exist. Perhaps the Americans do that because they want money and honor. However, most Americans will laugh at their claims as nerds who want to be a star.

In my opinion, the reason why conspiracy theories are popular in America is because of the show business that is of spotlight and interest to all Americans. Proper lying and acting give all Americans a smile and hope.

Above all, East Asia and Europe create nation and national consciousness through history and tradition, but America aims to create a same Americans consensus theory by creating conspiracy theory.

Looking at the writings of a respected American senior, I came to this conclusion. America draws attention and attention from Americans through conspiracy theories, creating American unification and a sense of community.

It is very interesting to read your grasp of America through the writings of Americans you have found on Steem.

Some years ago I had a Korean friend that lived across the street. He told me about his philosophy of life. He said it was like a man climbing up a cliff with a rope. Above the top of the cliff were rodents chewing on the rope. Halfway up the cliff was a bush with sweet berries. He told me he wished to eat the sweet berries while he could.

I admired him very much.

Thanks!

Good night, America will be early dawn, don't you sleep? I watched Cliff's video and wrote a critique. I should correct the typo again.

Your Korean friend quotes from the Russian writer Tolstoy's fable. Tolstoy's work is very popular with Koreans.
thank you!

"...don't you sleep?"

Not enough =)

I love conspiracy theories because they can expose people who actually conspired to do wrong. Especially in America where there's so much corruption and conspiring done by politicians. It's easy for Americans to say things like "9/11 was an inside job", because our politicians are so corrupt.

the dynastic ambitions of the kennedy clan had to be put to the graves, jacky didn't get it, it's a republic, not a monarchy.

Is there a royal family in modern America? Why is Kennedy's assassination the subject of a conspiracy theory?

"Is there a royal family in modern America?"

There are several families that have members the Queen of England has elevated to the English nobility.

"Why is Kennedy's assassination the subject of a conspiracy theory?"

Because JFK was assassinated, and it was done by conspirators. I have not mentioned it, but understanding the crimes politicians and their ilk commit, what you refer to as conspiracy theory, is not merely a mechanism to create a shared culture in America.

It is necessary to save our lives from murderous criminals that seek power at any cost, including the lives and treasure of civilians, like us. Genocide and crimes against humanity aren't fantasies. Massive drug smuggling operations, organ trafficking, and child sex slavery are ongoing today, along with wars and other vile crimes, and threaten the peace, freedom, and prosperity of all people, including Americans.

I have been physically attacked and my family threatened for knowing of and opposing crimes undertaken by goverment. That is not a theory.

That's a beating, and an existential threat.

Conspiracy theory also has a purpose for the purification of American society. I mean, the Americans who create alien reptilians have a purpose to attract the attention and popularity of American society.

Thank you!

to discredit those wanting to know the real story of why this potus HAD to be assassinated, like a lot of his family members.

how many bushes in congress right now? vs kennedies?

listen to the post jfk tapes of "jackie" it's pathetic, denial and ubri...

say what ever bad you want about herbert, he was a patriot... not from the disney rosy glass world, I agree... the brutal reality of this planet...

Poppy was a patriot if you consider the plutocracy a nation.

His crimes against humanity remain unaccounted, and are probably more than those of his execrable progeny, who deserves hanging. There are more Bushes yet to hide behind. Did you forget governorships, or corporate power in your allegations?

Go hide behind Jeb, or Marvin.

Hmmm. You are an interesting person @silvergrifin007. Quick comments on these excerpts, from your post:

"So, as a Korean, I'm interested in America's history, traditions, culture, religion, life, and people, and it's amazing that Americans claim that alien reptilians exist."

"America draws attention and attention from Americans through conspiracy theories, creating American unification and a sense of community."

I have never even heard of "alien reptilians" ... Not sure where you are seeing any reference to this.

While familiar with conspiracy theories, I would suggest to you they are far from a unifying force in America. In some respects, exactly the opposite.

America today is a very divided country. Opposing factions seem to create "conspiracy theories" out of thin air, in an attempt to keep their supporters "in line" with whatever nonsense is being proclaimed as "truth."
