Tips for Choosing When to Sell Your SilversteemCreated with Sketch.

Create a gameplan now, not later

Don't wait until you want to sell, to create a gameplan. That allows for emotions to play a larger role, and emotional investing usually ends badly. With that being said, don't be afraid to stray from your plan in the future.

Create a tiered system

Rather than planning on selling all your silver at once, create a plan that allows you to sell off a certain amount at each price point. Keep in mind, you don't need a plan to sell off all your silver. Keeping a percentage as an emergency fund, for retirement, for after a collapse, etc. is a good idea.

One day, you’ll be the one selling generic silver at a premium, if you wait long enough

Silver shortages could mean that, one day, you're selling even generic silver at a premium.

Keep tabs on fiat currencies, politics, the economy, etc.

Waiting for a total collapse of the system? Keep an eye on the world around you, for signs of a deterioration of society, currency, and government.

Profits are icing on the cake

You should go into this with the mindset of preserving wealth. Profits will likely happen, but those should be an icing on the cake.

When you’re buying now, think long and hard about what will sell then

Every purchase you make should involve asking yourself whether you can recover the premium, or not.

Try to always keep the bulk of your assets out of fiat

When you sell your silver, convert that fiat into some other asset of tangible value.

Take advice with a grain of salt

In 2011, some silver pundits advised stackers to no sell. Hindsight is 20/20, but you should make these decisions for yourself.

Be diversified

Even if you're likely to come out ahead in silver, always diversify your investment to some degree. Remember, you can diversify within silver and gold, as well (generic silver, government coins, etc.)

Make sure you’re buying silver with money you don’t need.

You want to sell your silver at a time of your choosing, not when you're desperate for cash.

Nice post man, resteeming!

What exchange does this community use for selling their silver bullion into crypto? The closest thing I can find is jmbullion offers $.50 under ask and i pay for shipping. Does anyone know of a better way to convert to crypto?

How much is one bar of silver and gold worth? I actually want to look more into this.

It really depends on the size, obviously. But currently, an ounce of silver is worth roughly $16.50, whereas an ounce of gold is worth around $1245. I encourage you to check out precious metals, and why one would invest in them.

Great, thanks will do.

Very informative- ty!

I think precious metals are a good compliment to cryptocurrencies to diversify and hedge your bets.

Keep on stackin 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Thanks for the advice
