The 2017 2-Coin Proof and Reverse Proof Britannia Set

While the mintage of the one ounce proof coin is listed at 10,800 coins. There are only 500 of these two coin sets available. Apmex had the exclusive rights to them worldwide, so if you wanted them you had to go through them. A little bit about the coins now.

The coin was designed by Jody Clark (obverse) and Louis Tamlyn (reverse). The coin is 38.61mm in diameter and weighs 31.21 grams. There is a special trident mint mark to celebrate the 20th year of the Britannia.
I love the Proof Britannia’s and wish i didn’t stop collecting for several years, because my favorite design is the 2009 on the chariot. Oh well maybe someday....
