Silver stacking...
If you’ve been stacking silver, whether it’s for months or years we all have gone through our collections and re-evaluated at some point. I thought that I’d share my stacking position right now.
First I’d like to start off by saying I’m not just a 100% bullion stacker, i really enjoy the numismatic and semi-numismatic coins as well. Second, i will never stop stacking it is part of who i am. Lastly, i have ZERO faith in fiat currency!!!!
So on with my strategy. When the spot prices are down, i purchase primarily poured silver and standard bullion to increase my total weight. I do this for two reasons, one i like to keep my cost average as low as possible and two poured silver bars have a higher premium so i mainly buy them when they cost less. I loved poured silver.

When spot prices are higher. (Meaning over $18) i then I move to buying graded coins that i am collecting either for a set or series. Examples:I am trying to complete an MS63 set of Peace Dollars, a MS64 set of Morgan Dollar Philadelphia Mint Business strike, and a Walking Liberty Half Dollar set. The reason for this is that these style purchases have little to do with the spot price and more on the collectible value.
Everyone has there own stacking strategy. What is yours? Do you agree with my strategy, I’d like to know?

My Silver Stacking Strategy is keep stacking until it hits the ceiling 💰 Hahaha
That’s a good plan. You’ve still got time. Good luck and thanks for commenting.
It's always nice to get silver at a low price but sometimes when it comes to coins you just have to treat yourself
It sure is. My collection is more coins then straight bullion. They are silver and gold coins, but coins. I have found that coins appreciate on a rather nice scale and are a valuable asset to your stack. Thanks for the comments always appreciated.
My strategy has morphed into junk silver and whatever the cheapest I can find is. My shops "miscellaneous spot +10%" bin is my new friend!
Don’t have a local coin shop to do that with. Wish i did....thanks
I hear ya, I used to have to order everything online. I have no selection to speak of where I go, but there's always something. Even if just maples...
It’s better then nothing. Even the one that’s 40 minutes away from me isn’t good. Kind of a weird place, has a bunch of different things in there but calls it a coin shop.
I don't really have a strategy too much. It kind of just depends on what's calling out to me when hit the coin shop.
I used to be like that when i had a local coin shop. Haven’t had one in about 5 years now. The closest one is 40 minutes away without traffic.
My motto is to get all i can, whenever i can. Awesome Atlantis mint skull and crossbones bar i want one, i need one. I have started a set i have from 5 gram to 1 oz.
That’s a good motto. I just did the unboxing post on that and another from Atlantis Mint yesterday, you should check it out. That’s a good start. Keep it going!!! Thanks for comment.
@silverd510 I always say keep buying what you like and don't get discouraged if others disagree with what you like...................
I buy what i like regardless, i just like to know how other people think as well. Thank you for the comment and keep stacking brother.
