Gold…..
Afternoon everyone….
While I would love to be able to add much more gold to my stack. It’s not that easy for me. But when it is possible I take full advantage of it.
A few weeks back I had just finished a rather big job I had signed. After paying all the bills and figuring out what bills were still coming in. There were some funds left for me to grab a little bit of gold.
Of course I’d much rather buy one ounce gold coins. But having that kind of money for me is nearly impossible. So I have to settle for a higher premium coin with the quarter ounce gold.
I’m not a big fan of the American Gold Eagle, so the fractional gold that I chose was a Canadian Maple Leaf coin. The best price on these was random year secondary market. So I was surprised to receive a mint sealed quarter ounce gold coin. Thank you Monument Metals.
Here she is….

A little bit of Canadian gold maple leaf coins:
Canadian Maple Leaf Coins made their debut in 1979, introduced by the Royal Canadian Mint. These coins were a strategic response to the growing demand for a pure gold investment option. With a gold purity of 99.9%, they quickly gained recognition for their exceptional fineness. In 1984 they changed to a .9999 fine gold coin.
They didn’t start producing fractional gold coins until 1994. They are the number one selling pure gold coin in the world currently.
