Moss Hollow Adventure Vol. 2
Hello fellow Steemians! My partner @nikkicole and I managed to get out to Moss Hollow again, it was such a wonderful time that we thought we should share our adventure with all you lovely folks <3
Upon arrival we encountered an extreme amount of windfall, in all my years of hiking iv'e never seen tree damage from wind quite like this... there were entire areas of forest completely leveled!

We've arrived!!!
Checking out the ice cave again to see what kind of interesting formations there are this time...
There are all sorts of nooks and crannies around here, this area is used for rock climbing and there are plenty of bolted routes. Some routes are on giant boulders that broke off from the side of the mountain.
The view from above moss hollow is absolutely spectacular! This is by far my favorite place to explore in the Vernon area. so much to see and do!

I couldnt think of a better place to adventure with the love of my life! We have such a great time hiking together and i'm grateful to share them with the Steemit community. We took a few shameless selfies in hopes that they make someone puke in their mouths... just a little bit!

The damage to the forrest looks severe. How much of the area is affected?
Apart from that, great pictures, beautiful surroundings! If you want to make it easy for others to find this beautiful, you might want to think about adding it to the @steemitworldmap!

Thank you! The first few kms seemed heavily affected, we also found some areas that had flash flooding damage but our camera battery died. As far as tree damage, very spotty everywhere in that area... hard to say how large of an area was affected but I do remember there being very powerful wind gusts a few days prior in the area, probably the combination of wind and sudden warm temperatures causing mudslides as well. Made for quite the journey trying to get around all that tree fall! Thanks for linking us to your page and resteeming! We hike and snowshoe a lot so there will be more to come.

Awful. This is a real wild forest. Broken trees at every step. Huge stones. Your campaign, this is an extreme adventure. We hope that you like and will remember for a long time. Thanks for the photo. Very interesting.
