Who sat and watched my infant head,
When sleeping in my cradle bed,
And tears of sweet affection shed?

When pain and sickness made me cry,
Who gazed upon my heavy eye,
And wept for fear that I should die?

I remember through growing up how much she has shouldered responsibilities sometimes too much for her to bear, just so i can be comfortable and happy.
She struggle so i can have a better life.
My mother is a very hardworking person, very busy too as she is a nurse and midwife by profession but she still makes out time to be there for me, to stand by me supporting every leap.
She has been a strong pillar and has been present in every little wins of my life.
From graduation ceremonies to matriculations and convocations spreading across other events in a child's life, my mother has been physically present to as a support system.
I see her determined and sacrifice her own happiness to see her girls through school, and i am happy we have not disappointed her but live up to expectation, and i know she will reap the reward of her sweat.
I remember difficulties i faced during my university days, from funding to sustainability, i probably would be a drop out by now if not for the strong encouragements from my dear mother to keep forging ahead irrespective of setbacks, that kept me back on track.
That today i am grateful for.
My mother has taught me about life in different ways, about respect, and about growing up to become a responsible adult, she introduces discipline when necessary to ensure i do not deviate from my upright upbringing.
She teaches me all that is required in family life and draws me closer to my creator whenever she seizes the opportunity to.
She usually tells me that nothing good comes without hardwork and so i must put in all effort if i want to become outstanding in future, she always ring honesty as an unbeatable virtue.
I AM HAPPY I LEARNT FROM THE BEST TEACHER WHICH IS MY MOTHER, GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS AND KEEP HER 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
