Windflower growing on a tree trunk
This photo is taken because it is seldom one can find a field flower that grows on a tree trunk, so this must be called a rarity.
The flower that grows upon the moss-covered tree trunk is a windflower (Anemone nemorosa).
The picture was taken a few days ago in Hystadmarkjo.
The last picture shows a pretty windflower that was growing on a meadow. This foto enable you to see how beautiful the windflower is.
In its natural environment, the flower develops best, but the windflower that grew on the tree trunk was beautiful as well.

Great find, my Dear friend @Siggjo! This proves that life cannot fit in any framework, it will always find time and place for its development. This plant is like a man. People have always tried to win the best territory for themselves. The feeling of envy. forced people to besiege other people's castles and take them by storm. This little flower decided to win a place on the trunk of a tree. A huge layer of moss, which feeds on the tree’s juices, could not become an obstacle to a life-giving flower.
