Hi, friend. I'm happy to join the contest held by @klen.civil . The contest that was held today was themed Street Food Contest: Traditional Food Review. This time we will review the traditional specialties in Aceh. Aceh province has different tribes, customs and cultures. If you are the people of Aceh, of course you already know some of the special foods in Aceh Province, Indonesia. Today I want to share about some traditional Acehnese cakes. This traditional Acehnese cake is certainly no stranger to the people of Aceh. If you are visiting Aceh, don't forget to enjoy eating traditional Aceh cakes.

Bhoi

Bhoi is a traditional Acehnese sponge cake. Although the outside texture is dry, this cake has a very soft texture inside. This cake is usually served with a cup of hot coffee. The shapes vary from the shape of fish, flowers, other animals, or those that are printed on a baking sheet.

Keukarah

Keukarah or Kue Karah is a popular snack among the people of Aceh. This cake is made from rice flour and is shaped like chunks of dried vermicelli. This snack is also often said to resemble a bird's nest. This sweet and crunchy snack originally developed in the west coast of Aceh. Keukarah is often served at traditional and traditional events.

Meuseukat

Meuseukat is an Acehnese snack that has a very beautiful and soft appearance. The yellow color of this cake comes from the yellow color of the pineapple contained in it. The texture of the cake is very soft, so you don't have to chew it because it melts in your mouth.

Halwa

This food is almost resembling dodol, both in terms of taste and its color. But it has a rough texture because it is made of roughly ground sticky rice. The sensation of pleasure is actually obtained from these rough grains. And also from grated coconut granules. His name is Halwa. It feels sweet and legit. This cake is indeed not popular than other traditional Acehnese cakes. In coffee stalls this cake has never been met as Timphan.

Those are some of the types of traditional cakes that I can share in this contest. All of these photos belong to me.
