Back in time
what if we can go back in time? What would it be when there is no modern technology, no fast cars and no electricity?
I am very thankful for being in this generation. We have everything we need and even more. The modern technology helps our life easier. We have electricity and water came from the water tap. In the cold winter season we can turn on the heater and in summer we can cool ourselves with air conditioning.
Back in time about 100 years ago, everything looked different.
people traveled by hoses , no electricity and there was no machine to reduce our work.
Few weeks ago i visited a little museum and learned something about life of the previous farmer generation. Everyone had a hard life, a life that required a lot of work to make a living out of it, a life that everyone had to put much effort, otherwise ther will be no food on the table.
Sometimes we think our life is not easy but be happy about what we have. There are many people who has to fight even more then us.

Wow @siamcat - you been to Gutenstein! My sister lives nearby in Pernitz, whereas my brother-in-law is living like a hermit in a small farmhouse way on top of the mountain in Gutenstein! Long story about how this is working, I might tell you sometime.
I was there not so long ago.
A few years earlier, in 2015, I visited the Wallfahrtskirche am Mariahilferberg and walked the stations of the cross.
as you can see, at one point of the journey, I got "enlightened"!
