THE LESS PRIVILEGED

What is life: -
Life is anything that grows and eventually dies. The four letter words (LIFE) does not have a specific definition, it depends on how you see it, your orientation about life itself and how you adopt it. Life is far too much to understand, while preparing this post I try as much to understand the mystery and the power behind life. All I notice was that, I was moving round a circle and I came to a conclusion that life is UNFAIR!

Yes! You might be wondering why I said life is UNFAIR. Looking at the world itself, it off two categories, we have the
 Rich and the poor
 Living things and nonliving things
 The able and the disable
 Those that are in power and the slaves etc.

The question is why must only the rich have access to the social activities only? Why can’t God make everything perfect by allowing the less privileged and the rich have free access to everything in life, or who does not wants to have that free will, to get what you need whenever the need arises? Or what might they have done that warrant such treatment?

Who are the less privileged?
The less privileged are the people who are deprived economically, politically and also from social advantages. This set of people don’t have opportunities, inadequate nutrition, have higher risk of diseases, they lack access to healthcare and basic essentials for living which result in low achievement.

In today’s society, the less privileged are treated with disdain, they are often dreaded as a scourge in their environment, they don’t have a say, they are been oppressed by their right in the society, making them feel they are the cause of their problem. On the other hand, there are people who live their life lavishly, they are not only enjoying the joy of essentials and also get what they want and desire any time. Whereas there are also people who can’t afford the basic requirement of living. They do not have shelter to live, food to eat, and clothes to wear.

We need to be more interested in the less privileged in the world of today, it is true that some organization that deals with the vulnerable people still exist, but there are just few of them and how can the deaf, dumb, crippled and blind approach them?

We have to view the welfare of this people as a collective responsibility, Individuals should therefore adopt the hospitable nature that would enable the see the need of the people, Give them hope and also put a smile on their faces.
One cannot make such people opulent but can at least make them stand by helping them to achieve the essentials of life. Helping the less privileged is a good deed, caring for them and helping them is a noble endeavor. The more you give to them, the more you strengthen their independency.


Change your perspective, Instead of considering them as a project to help, view them as people to love, care for and respect and I pray as you do this Almighty God we increase you in all aspect of life. Thanks
