3 potatoesmedium-sized
Milk2 cups
sugar50 gm
Ghee4 soupspoons
cardamom1/3 tablespoon

Instructions
 * Wash the potatoes completely and boil them until they're completely cooked. You can boil them with their skin on. 

 * Once cooked, peel off the skin and crush the potatoes well using a chopstick or potato lecher. Set away. 

 * toast a teaspoon of ghee in a deep-bottomed visage or a kasha over medium heat. 

 * Add the mashed potatoes to the visage and sauté them for a couple of twinkles to remove any redundant humidity. 

 * In a separate saucepan, toast the milk. Once the milk comes to a pustule, reduce the heat to low and let it poach for many more twinkles. 

 * sluggishly pour the stewing milk into the visage with the mashed potatoes, stirring continuously to avoid any lumps. 

 * Add the sugar to the admixture and continue stirring until the sugar dissolves fully. 

 *  In another small visage, toast the remaining ghee and roast the diced nuts until they turn golden brown. Keep them away for garnishing. 

 * Keep stirring the admixture sometimes to help it from sticking to the bottom of the visage. Cook until the halwa thickens and starts to leave the sides of the visage. This process may take around 20- 25 twinkles. 

 * Once the halwa reaches the desired thickness, turn off the heat and transfer it to a serving dish. 

 * Garnish with the roasted nuts, pressing them smoothly into the halwa.
