dtube platform vs YouTube platform
Hello everyone! How are you all?
With this post I'm sharing my views about the dtube platform.
I'm using dtube from quite some time so I just thought of creating a post about my experience on dtube till now.
These are things which I really liked about the dtube platform
NSFW OPTION-
This is really a wonderful option present on steemit and dtube. Let me tell you why, while using YouTube whenever I used to open YouTube home page, the NSFW content comes on the front page no matter how many times I set not to show it but next time it comes again on the very home page only. It became very irritating to hide it again and again.
2nd thing which I liked about is there is option to use your vote percentage.
This is also a good thing it gives users control of their votes.
Monetization: YouTube nowdays demonetizing videos for no reason. Making your hours of hardwork going in vain. But there is no thing like this on dtube which makes it awesome platform.
Community: You can't spam, this is because if you try to spam here there are people here who will flag you. You can accept originality here. While there are lots of spammers on YouTube making the experience very disgusting.
Let me give you a example, if you search for a movie on YouTube then you will definitely get a search result showing only the logo with nothing inside it. My one friend download a movie but what he actually gets is empty black screen of size over one gigabyte.
The community here is extremely helpful and courageous if you are reading it and had not made account I will advise you to make one.
I also face some problems though on dtube but these are acceptable as it is in it's initial phase that can be corrected in near future. If you are new to dtube then these are tips for you
- Always try to upload your video from the laptop only.
I yesterday try uploading video on dtube from my Android mobile. I tried three times to upload but every time the snap was not uploading and there was also no error coming. - Make sure that your thumbnail (snap) size is below 1 Megabytes. As this is the highest size of thumbnail allowed for uploading.
I will love if the dtube Android app comes. So that we upload videos from it directly from it.
It will make mobile experience phenomenal.
