• Find a good post by a whale* kind of user. (* a user with more steem power)
• Upvote the post if you like it.
• Comment your views on the post.
• Wait for the whale to upvote your post.
• Thats it!

I got 3.216 SBD and 1.495 Steem Power just by my comments.

So if you are a new user you might not attract a lot of good upvotes to get author rewards for your story.
