Expectations
If you stop approaching each day, person and situation with a preformed set of expectations, then the day, people and events will stop annoying, disappointing and angering you.
The world and all who are in it, are rarely going to follow your script for how they will perform.
They are all carrying out their own plan.
The sooner you do this, the sooner you will have peace.
Grant the world the same freedom you seek and be surprised to find yourself set free also.

As plausible as your reasons; nevertheless, set your independent goals for yourself , not for others!!
You are however expected to leverage others personal expectations to achieve yours. It is christened 'win - win ' for all!!
Without a periodic goal, underperformance is bound to result.
