Be Grateful
UNBIND your eyes, with your own soul confer,
Look on the sins that made your life unclean,
Behold how poor your vaunted virtues were,
How weak your faith, your deeds how small and mean,
How far from as high dreams your life have been,
How poor the use of all you have received,
How little of all God's glory you have seen,
How misconstrued that which you have perceived
Be grateful for God's mercy.
