UMKA: A SECURE DECENTRALIZED LABOR MARKET
Over the years, there has been a growing demand for platforms where employers can meet competent individuals and professionals in specific fields for jobs around the world. This, albeit stemming from good intentions and being in high demand has nonetheless been quite an issue considering that employers and freelancers -as these professionals are called- sometimes fail to reach a satisfactory compromise or one party fails to deliver.
This problem, among other factors, has made working across borders unnecessarily tasking. A handful of ideas involving sites that would bridge these problems have sprouted but still happen to leave one or both of the parties shortchanged.
UMKA is the utopia of a decentralized labor market; a space tailored to meet the needs of both employers and contractors with peculiar features like. It presents the opportunity of having a digital passport that will contain user data on registration, as well as necessary information for recruitment such as contractors skill-set and qualifications so that jobs done are uploaded to narrow down searches for employers willing to recruit.
UMKA will also provide foolproof security conscious plans using new technology from AgileSC (Agile Smart Contacts) which allows the employer to pay in deposits or milestones as this will soften the edges on longterm projects and motivate the hired contractor.
The UMKA project is the brainchild of visionary CEO Timur Akhmedzhanov, who has talked extensively about modeling the platform after the hardships he had as a professional who needed hiring, and also the current trend of the modern freelance sector with special focus on the IT sector. One of UMKA's goals is to create expert communities and provide them with the best work environments, education, and support as well as a platform to create connections. UMKA has a highly intuitive and user-friendly interface, and an added special token feature that accommodates varieties of crypto and fiat currencies in user accounts for tokens which can be used on the platform.
The UMKA platform creates lasting solutions to some challenges like low speed, noting that existing decentralized solutions based on the Eutherian blockchain are slow and expensive. In response to this, UMKA uses the superfast and uber-efficient EOS blockchain.
A major setback in international recruitments of professionals has always been the language barrier. UMKA’s solution is employing GNMT (Google Neutral Machine Translation) updated daily to remove language barriers and ease communication.
Freelance commission fees on current market platforms range between 2.7% to as high as 20% as opposed to UMKA relatively meager 1% commission for every transaction making it the most freelancer-friendly platform on the market. Failure on the side of one of the involved parties in a deal to meet the conditions usually has both parties in knots and twists which would require a third parties involvement. UMKA solves this problem by letting the employee pay in milestones – steadily as the work progresses.
Umka mobile applications have been devoloped and is already on playstone and iTunes. These apps are in demo stage and the full version will be launched in Q1 2019.
UMKA is here to stay and is a haven for qualified freelancers and trusted employers.
