Survivalism: Under the free sky| A night outside without tent
It can get a bit groce.
Especially when the rain comes. Tonight it didn't rain and I felt pretty cool to "cheat the system" or "do what everyone does" and have a few hours of sleep in an uncompfortable position under the free sky.
High-tech meets nature
These shoes make a great contrast to the nature that surrounds them. I went in between the high growing plants placed my blanket on the ground, used some shirts as a pillow and enjoyed the feeling of being invisible and safe.
The ground can be uneven and this time it was. Experience is everything.
I remember the humiliating feeling I had when I did this the first few times. Others use a tent and bring a bag load of stuff before disappearing in the green but after hundreds of times of doing this I am giving myself the label "experienced survivalist". The fear of snakes stays and I wouldn't do it it in the jungle of South America but here on the Azores it's all Boogie.
I woke up early and enjoyed the view. Thousands of clicks behind the horizon starts Virginia in the United States of America or perhaps Brasil? I didn't bring my compass.
