devoted and self sacrificed

can anyone challenge mothers in these two adjectives?

a woman's body and soul will change once she becomes a mother. her entire life and destiny seems to change.

I'm not a feminist or against them, I believe in equality with accepting differences. if you have experienced such thing or if you have witnessed it with your closed relatives, you may agree with me.
