Today, I am once again ready to participate in the Steem for Better Life Community's regular travel contest. Today I came to write the article in the travel contest Have you been here?" organized by my dear @irawandedy sir. In today's travel, I will share with you about one of the places of history and heritage of Bangladesh, Mahera Zamindar Bari. This place is located in mirzapur , Tangail District ,Bangladesh.

1. Why do you like the place?

Today I want to talk about my favorite historical place, Mahera Zamindar House. The main reason I like this place is that it is a historical place. It is one of the tourist attractions of Tangail district. And Mahera Zamindar's house is still beautiful and well preserved. This zamindar house of Bangladesh still stands tall as a priceless monument of ancient civilization and tradition.

This manor house will be the favorite place of any visitor if one observes this place once. Coming here, there are two huge picturesque gates before entering this zamindar house. And at the beginning of the entrance you will see a huge pond, and the name of this pond is Visakha Sagar.

One of the attractions of the zamindar houses is the huge sprawling buildings. These buildings are as beautiful as they are attractive. And these buildings have specific names.

Now know about the buildings of Mahera Zamindar House:

• First this Chowdhury Lodge: This lodge can be seen only after entering the zamindar house through the main gate. The pillars of this attractively colored building are built in the Roman architectural style. And inside this beautifully designed building is a wavy roof. There is a beautiful garden and green field in front of this two-story building.

• Maharaj Lodge: This building has six columns in front and is built in Byzantine style. The curved railings of the front stairs of Maharaj Lodge and the finial of the balcony add to the beauty of this building. And there is a garden in front of this building and a tennis court at the back. Currently, this building is used as a shooting spot at various times.

• Anand Lodge:The most interesting building of this manor house is the Anand Lodge. This building has eight beautiful columns, and these columns are very colorful. Hanging balconies make this building spectacular and attractive. And in front of this building there is a beautiful garden with statues of deer and animals.

• Kalicharan Lodge:This building is quite different from other lodges as it was built towards the end of the abolition of the landlord system. This building is built in the English architectural style and is shaped like the English letter "U.". From this architectural style, one can enjoy the beautiful light from inside the building in the evening.

Apart from the buildings mentioned above, Mahera Zamindar House has Naib Bhawan, Kachari Bhawan, and Rani Mahal. There are also two ponds at the back of the main building, one called Pasara Pond and the other called Rani Pond.

2. What public facilities are available there so that visitors feel comfortable

Mahera Zamindar has a police training academy program, hence a safe and attractive place for the public. In any new environment, f you order before the meal, you can get the menu according to your choice facilities , the greatest difficulty in living and eating. And a lowre are food facilities as Mahera Police Training Center has a canteen at low cost. But here, if you order before the meal, you can get the menu according to your choice. There is also a good overnight stay in Japan for tourists from afar. Family accommodation is normally available.

3. How much does it cost, tickets or anything to visit the place?

Each person has to purchase a ticket to enter the Mahera Zamindar House. Each ticket costs ৳80, but no ticket is required for children under three years of age. And there is a car parking facility, for which you have to pay ৳50. Besides, to enter the children's park, you have to buy a separate ticket for ৳20. There is the facility of board writing, and here too you have to pay a separate amount. There is no fixed amount for the boat ride, but holidays charge more than normal days.

4. Write your recommendation so that it can attract other visitors.

This Mahera Zamindar home is excellent for those who love historical places. It is a priceless sign of ancient civilization and tradition. This manor house is spread over eight acres of land. There is only beauty around. Mahera Zamindar's house is a paradise of nature. Along with this house there is a small park, zoo, picnic spot, and boat ride.

Thousands of flower fairs can be seen here in the winter season. This manor house has been developed as a police training center since 1990. And due to the establishment of a police training center, this house has been constructed with proper maintenance to facilitate the training, and for this reason, the Zamindar house can be called the most beautiful Zamindar house in Bangladesh so far.

And so come today to Mahera Zamindar House to know the ancient history and tradition and keep your mind happy with its beauty.
