Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Today I'm going to participate in the Steemit Engagement Challenge, S9w3, organized by the Steem For Ladies community. The main subject or topic of this competition is “What is a woman? I thank the organizers for presenting us a beautiful topic.

What does the word "Woman" mean to you?

I think what we mean by the word woman is any female gender of any age which could be a girl, someone's daughter, or a mother or a woman. By which we understand the word woman by many synonyms. As soon as we hear or say the word woman, an image comes to us that we first think of her body without thinking of any specific inherent qualities or characteristics.

A woman cannot be defined by physical attributes. The fundamental characteristic of women is the infinite wonder of creation and mystery which has made women known as a human beauty for ages. Therefore, despite the fact that women are different personalities, different characteristics and different entities from men, today in the world, every activity is carried out with the equal participation of both of them in the world development.

Do you think women are born to be housewives only?

I never think that a woman is born to be a housewife only. But yes, if a woman wants to be a housewife, it is a normal thing, but if women want, they can break out of the housewives and establish themselves in the world. For example, many women are fulfilling their responsibilities in their workplace very well while being housewives. I am giving some examples :

First, the woman as a wife always stands by her husband to build a teamwork by establishing a happy family. Besides, being an educator and caretaker for the children provides spiritual and physical strength for the children to thrive in life.

Secondly, if a woman wants, she can become an employer or manager of any organization or develop the country and nation through any social organization. Because in the current situation, women are also participating in the development of the world by joining hands with men.

Thirdly, a woman can lead a country towards progress through leadership. For example, a woman is currently running the country in Bangladesh. She is as much a housewife as she is a statesman.

So I think women are not born to be housewives only. If they want and have the full support of the family, they will be the symbol of the development of the country and mankind and deserve equal priority like men.

What is the role of a woman in my society?

The role of women is behind every creation in the world. The foundation of today's society and civilization has been built on women's enthusiasm. I believe that the contribution of women to the development and prosperity of human civilization is equally significant as that of men. Therefore, for the development of the family, society or country, women are an essential entity of development.

I have presented the role of a woman in our society in the form of a few points below :

• A woman's role in economic development : A woman is taking charge of politics, education, office, court besides managing her household. Bangladesh is able to earn foreign exchange due to the advancement of women in the garment industry thereby enriching the economy of the country.

• Role of women in agriculture : Since Bangladesh is a major agricultural country. Therefore, both men and women produce fruit in our country. As a result, women play a leading role in the agricultural sector in our country.

• Role of Women as Entrepreneurs : Women entrepreneurs have progressed a lot in Bangladesh. Apart from this, women are playing an important role in creating employment in the country along with economic investment. So I think women's empowerment is essential to ensure the role of socio-economic development of a country.

Who are the most important women in my life?

My mother is the most important woman in my lifetime. From the moment a mother conceives, she fulfills the duties of a nurse, a teacher and a friend towards her child. A mother's importance is very important in every aspect of a child's life. Because the importance of a mother depends to a large extent on the development of a child's life. Likewise, my mother brought me up that way.

My mother has been my guardian as well as my friend and has been with me in every step of my life. My mother has always played her role as a guide in shaping my life. My mother is an ardent mother who has always encouraged me in my work with all her might.

Conclution

Finally, I would like to say that as our women are appreciated by everyone because of their eternal beauty, the contribution of women to the world's development is undeniable. And with that it must also be acknowledged that this self-confidence of women prevails in the positive influence of human life.
