Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Today I'm going to be participating in the Hindwhale Community Community Challenge Week 3 of the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 11. Where we are presented as the subject "The first salary always remains extra special for me." According to the theme of the competition, I would say that the first salary in life really carries a special meaning which should never be forgotten. Today I will talk about my first salary special moments through this competition.

The first salary always remains extra special for me.

I think the first salary is the first income in life which is extra special to everyone like me. I am working in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of Bangladesh. First salary is the first achievement of life which makes our day very special. Similarly when I got my first job salary my feelings were indescribable. Because that was my first income in life.

As soon as I received my first salary, I remembered my past days of hard work. The one who gets the taste of the first serving can never forget that day. This is exactly what happened to me. My first salary was more special to me because it was my first job in my life and the first salary earned from my first job for which I am always grateful to my Creator.

What did you do after you received your first paycheck?

After I got my first paycheck from my job I handed it over to my parents. Because I think this particular achievement of my life deserves the first place only at the hands of my parents. My parents have worked hard for me to achieve this. They were very hopeful about me that I would one day be established. I was able to fulfill their expectations. So I think the first paycheck of my salary is my parents right first and foremost.

My father gets very emotional when I give my paycheck to my father and mother. Because only a father knows how much sacrifices he has to go through to guide his child in the right direction by fulfilling all his needs from childhood. Maybe when I become a mother of children I will get this feeling like my father. So I think it was my responsibility to give my first paycheck to my parents.

Is your income supporting your family without you?

Yes. My earnings help support my family. All the expenses of my family are taken care of by me and my father. Because my father and I are working in the same office. My father is also a government employee. Before my job, my father used to shoulder all the responsibilities of the family. But now after my job my father and I bear all the expenses of the family together.

My income serves as an extra support for the family. Being the eldest child in the family it falls within my responsibility to bear the expenses of the household. However my support for my family is not mandatory. But still I want to fulfill my duty as a child to my parents properly. So this support to my family gives me self-satisfaction and above all Alhamdulillah me and my family can live happily and peacefully.

Did you study to acquire money or knowledge?

To be honest, I never thought in my student life that I would have to earn money. I always focused on acquiring my knowledge during my studies. I have been interested in learning anything since my childhood. So, I have never made education a tool for earning money. But yes, I had hoped for a better life. But study was not my main goal to earn money. I consider study as a great time to acquire knowledge in life. This opportunity we can acquire knowledge only after the end of student life.

I think the range of knowledge to be gained is very large. Because the acquisition of knowledge is not limited to studying only. I have the opportunity to acquire knowledge till the last day of my life. But its also true that if I dont study well I wont get a good job if I want to earn a living. So I would say the purpose of study should be to gain knowledge and later use that knowledge so I can find a good way to earn money.

Is life all about making lots of money or something else?

Life is about managing my life by fulfilling my basic needs and earning money. I think life is not about earning money only. In life, apart from earning money, you need people to be by your side in happiness and sadness. I get peace of mind through my own people which my money can never give me. I have seen many people around me who have spent their precious time in life to earn lots of money but at the end of the day they are lonely. I don't want their life.

Earning money is necessary to build a beautiful life. But I am satisfied with the sustenance that Allah has given me to lead my life in a beautiful way. I dont want to waste the important time of my life for extra money. So I want to work hard to meet my needs as much as I need to earn money in a normal life. And want to spend the rest of my life with my family and share the good times.
