📷 Wormhole to the 5th Dimension [original photos]
Abstract Super Macro
Today's post features some abstract flower photos I took with a 100mm macro lens with a 18-55mm lens attached in reverse to the front of it. The results are super close-up views of the flowers, rendering super shallow depth of field and resulting in photos that are approaching an artistic interpretation.
With such a set-up, flash is almost a necessity, and live view helps with composing under such shallow depth of field conditions.
The titles of the following are inspired by my love for space and science fiction.

btw, why do you say flash is a necessity?
Oh, because with this set-up you loose a lot of light entering the lens.
