📷 Pinhole Dreams - Shots made with a self-made pinhole 針孔夢境
I have always been fascinated by the fact that all is required to make an image is a tiny hole on the side of a black box, thus in my most recent experiment with my photography, I made a pinhole from a 3D-printed body cap for my Sony A7 and took it to the Lin Family Mansion and Garden for a test run.
Thanks to live-view I could compose each scene more easily, and it was a simple trial-and-error of a few shots to set the exposure time and ISO.
I have yet to determine roughly what the aperture size of my aluminum foil pinhole is, but I'm guessing it's in the hundreds of microns range.
Below are the shots, with slight adjustment in Lightroom.

@shieha some really creative work from you. I remember playing with the pinhole camera when I was quite young at school. It always was a challenge to get the exposure correct. You seem to have mastered it in these photos nice job!
Thanks for the view and comment Leigh!
Such a great idea! And the photos turned out to be nice! :)
Thanks so much :)
Excellent. I did the same thing using the body cap on my Canon DSLR a few years back. You got better results than I did. If I did it again I would make a smaller hole than last time.
Thank you, yea that was my problem the first time too, the pinhole was too large, also it was a crop sensor camera.
Awesome! How big was the hole? I'm guessing about 1 mm but not sure.
Also, did you have to flip the images 180? Curious if that comes out upside down.
It looks so peaceful!
