BLAM! Any much smarter individuals/interested minds with more experience that want to weigh in on how this approach might be viable for assessing best avenues for investment in cryptocurrency?

First comment to say the only strategy is to HODL obviously gets my vote. Also, this tool can be applied to the old decrepit markets as well so if nothing else maybe you can teach grandma how to keep your future trust fund alive and kicking even if she isn’t.

First thoughts:

1. The community has already reverted to log scale analysis of coins. This could help smooth the large volatility in coins.
   i. How do you adjust this excel optimize correctly using logarithmic scale?
2. The Sharpe ratio is awfully low but I also did one example and haven’t played with many coins.

For those who are not familiar, my hope with this post was to skip ahead but if it gains enough traction I’ll do my best to create a nice explainer if nobody else beats me to it or knows of one and posts it in the comments. In the meantime great article here just I’m not much of a python person and excel is more approachable for most.

In the end though, we’re all just gonna HODL.
