Today began early for me, as I woke up at 4:30 in the morning for sehri, the pre-dawn meal before fasting. The call to Fajr prayer rang out, urging me to head to the mosque for prayer. The tranquility of the early hours filled me with peace as I offered my prayers.

After returning home around 6 a.m., I decided to take a leisurely stroll through the fields.

The sight of the sunrise was stunning, with the sun casting its golden light over the landscape. Lost in the beauty of the moment, I unintentionally drifted off to sleep under a tree, forgetting about my fast.

I awoke at 11 a.m., realizing I had slept through a significant part of the day. Hastily, I freshened up with a shower and went outside. My elder brother, Faisal, was tending to the maize crop, ensuring it received the necessary nutrients for its growth.

He had wisely mixed fertilizer with water to protect the crop from potential harm caused by pesticides.

Upon returning home, I made a quick stop at the local store to buy ingredients for iftar, the meal to break the fast. Opting for a refreshing fruit chat, I picked out an assortment of fruits.

Back home, I washed and chopped the fruits, setting them aside for later.

Taking a moment to express gratitude, I offered a brief prayer, thanking the Almighty for the blessings of the day. It was then time for the Maghrib prayer, marking the end of the day's fast.

As dinner preparations got underway, I sat with my cousin Ali and brother Ahmad, enjoying light-hearted conversation. The aroma of the food filled the air, signaling that our meal was almost ready. We relished each bite of our hearty dinner together.

Following dinner, I took some time to unwind with a cup of tea. As the night deepened, it was time for the Isha prayer. Praying alongside my family, I felt a profound sense of unity and tranquility.

Reflecting on the day's events, I realized how each moment held significance and purpose. From the peacefulness of the early morning prayers to the lively atmosphere of iftar preparations, each experience brought me closer to my faith and family.I hope that you will like to read it.
