Steem monsters card question
You know you are a newb when you have to ask the question.
So I am looking through my cards, and see this one that I have never used. Not only not used, I have no idea when I got it or where from!.
I also can not find 1 for sale on the steem monsters site, not one that looks like this one anyway. Promo?
Have I got a rare gem here?
Any answers greatly accepted.

Have you played any daily quests lately? Part of the daily rewards are new cards this is probably a new one I got something else recently too. Looks awesome tho!
Yes I do the daily, though this is not one of the new dailies. I have the rusty android at level 3 and mushroom seer level 2 from the daily rewards collection so far.
It could be an alpha card then. I saw a post about alpha cards recently and how they aren’t compatible with others.
It says convert to beta on steem monsters but the link to press is dead, as it is for sell or send. Been like that since day 1 for me, I could not sell or give them away if I tried.
It is part of the Dragon Splinter. Only 1,010 of them in existance and a legendary card. So pretty rare, you need to have a dragon summoner to use it. Current open market value is $2.55 or there abouts.
oops correction, it is an Alpha version of the card so value is almost twice as much and only 960 of them in existence $4.60 on the open market.
That explains it then with it being Alpha, I must have picked it up early days and took no notice of it, cheers bro.
Sorry mate I have no idea about the card as I have not got into steem monsters. Hope it is a real good card for you though :) Hope you are also having fun playing the game.

It is fun though frustrating also, some bits are good some bad, same as most things I suppose. It may turn out to be a good investment one day though eh who knows, cheers my friend.
All good if having some fun mate and a great bonus if you make some "money" from it :)
