As someone who does A LOT of shopping online, I've learned some tricks over the past few years. Read on to learn how to save significant amounts of money.

The benefits don't stop there, though. My savings by using "deals websites," promo codes, discounted gift cards, and credit card rewards far exceed the cash back in the screenshots above.

Getting Started

Search Slickdeals

Let me take you through a recent purchase of mine - I wanted a juicer, so I went to my favorite deals website Slickdeals and searched for a juicer. This listing showed up.

I got a bit lucky this time and found a great deal on exactly what I was looking for. More often than not, when looking for a specific item, I have to keep an eye out on Slickdeals for a couple weeks until an excellent deal shows up.

Here we have this juicer for $62.99+Tax and free shipping on Tanga. The exact item on Amazon is $159.99!

Look For Discounted Gift Cards

Now, we need to figure out how to get the best price and most cashback from Tanga. First, I go to CardCash to see if I can buy discounted Tanga gift cards (if they sell them, I can pay with Bitcoin and get an even bigger discount). Cardcash discounts can be as little as 1% or as high as 40%+.

Note: If buying a discounted gift card for online purchase, look for digital gift cards. If a physical gift card is purchased, you'll have to wait for it to arrive in the mail before using it. The great deal you found on Slickdeals may no longer be valid by the time it arrives.

Maximize Cash Back

Unfortunately, there weren't any Tanga gift cards available. Now we go to CashbackMonitor.com and search for Tanga. This website will let us know which websites give the most cashback.

Here, you can decide whether you want to go through a cashback website (far left column), get travel miles/points (next column), or another kind of points.
Giving Assistant offers a whopping 20% cash back, but I've never used them. I'd have to do more research to make sure they're reputable before recommending the company. However, I frequently use TopCashBack and they offer 5%, so I'll go with them for now.

• Search for "Tanga"
• Click "Get Cashback Now"
• It will redirect you to Tanga. You MUST make your purchase through that link to get credit for your purchase!

Find the Best Promo Codes

You can sign up for the Honey extension to automatically find the best promo codes for you at checkout.
Be careful when using Honey because it may negate the cash back link you went through in the previous step. You may have to go through the previous (cashback) step again after Honey finds you the best promo code.
You may also skip the previous step and get all your cash back through Honey, but the exact cash back amount through Honey will be unknown at the time of purchase.

Get the Most Credit Card Rewards

My best rewards credit card is my Priceline Rewards Visa which gets me about 2.3% cash back on every purchase. Unfortunately, that offer is no longer available. The only credit card I know of that gives you 2% back on every purchase with no annual fee is the Fidelity Visa.

Summary and Extra Tips

• Limit your use of cash back websites to just a few because each site as a preset minimum before you can withdraw your money. I like to use EBATES, BeFrugal, and TopCashBack. I'll use whichever of the three has the highest cash back percentage. Note: If you sign-up through these cash back links, we both get a sign-up bonus (but that's not my motivation for writing this post).
• Download Honey to make your life really easy
• Get a high % cash back credit card like Fidelity Visa
• Convert your STEEM to Bitcoin to buy highly-discounted gift cards at CardCash. For instance, I frequently buy Jamba Juice gift cards for 30%+ OFF. Prices can fluctuate significantly, though.
• Don't underestimate the power of Slickdeals. I save so much money through that website, it's absurd. As a matter of fact, I frequently purchase items for resale.
• Use CashbackMonitor.com to maximize cash back.
