The Big Contention

And from that time, a battle line was drawn.

Man's laxity and ignorance (believers in particular) of what is going on in the realm of the spirit and how it is being interplayed in human existence, the earth chosen as the battle field and man being the prime subject is of a great concern. There is a forceful contention going on in the realm of the spirit between the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness over the soul of mankind.

Long time ago, before the creation of Man, God saw that the Satan out of pride of being the chief musician in heaven, decided to move a rebellion. God in his supremacy decided to mock Satan by raising up man to give him willful , pure and perfect praise not a forced praise. Angels were designed to naturally praise God , theirs is no choice in this matter but man created by God with a will and choice . So when men praise God, it's out of a willful heart proving to the devil, He will raise up mankind that looks like him, think and praise perfectly from their hearts. In other words, God proved to Satan that by loosing his position of praise master of heaven , He'll create billions of praise Masters and Mistresses that will give him perfect and unforced praise , said in his word

Mathew 21:16, ...And Jesus said unto them, ye, have ye never read, out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise

This gives Satan constant rage and torment so much that he went out instantly to declare war on man, God's perfect vessels of praise.

Revelation 12:17... And the dragon was enraged with the woman and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ

There is a high level of forceful contention going on in the realm of the spirit over souls such that their actions and inactions negatively or positively has a large role to play in determining the outcome of these contentions. This contention I'm talking about means the contention over man's soul which is totally different in the two kingdom. The kingdom of God is out to save and reconcile the soul of man back to God, while the dark kingdom is completely set to destroy in Mass. Known in John 10:10

Just as God is looking for vessels in mankind to use in drawing souls unto salvation, the devil is also hungrily ravaging his way through, looking for human agents that would work for him in drawing souls unto himself for destruction. Satan's strategy in hunting for souls unto destruction and eternal damnation keeps getting more sophisticated by the generations. A man must serve something, if not serving God through Jesus Christ, you are automatically serving Satan whether directly or indirectly. Joshua got to the point of exhaustion from people's indecisiveness that he had to ask them to make a choice on who they wanted to follow.

This battle line has been drawn long before this generation and we are caught in the web, whether we like it or not and the only language to accessing and sustaining your victory is the language of force. **Have you ever wonder why ⅔ of the old testament Bible is full of battles and war stories? Infact the only difference between the old and new testament is, that one is physical and the latter is spiritual but the fact remains that there is a big war going on and in this battle are different dimensions, categories and predominant language in this warfare and victory is certain for every believer in Christ Jesus because the Bible says.

Psalms 115:16... The heavens , even the heavens are the LORD'S, but the earth He has given to the children of men

So whatever happens here on Earth is determined by the extent to which we are resolved to force down our enemy the devil and his crooked ways to a point of capitulation in order for us to experience joy in every facet of our lives.
