Destiny is not profession

The hardest question I have ever sat to answer is the question that relates to my destiny. Most times I have thought my destiny is related to a profession I needed to study or my childhood passionate career, only to learn many persons doesn't practice in the field they studied, some ends up jobless, many start up petty business and live with it all their life and few get their dream job and grow rich yet not satisfied. If profession is really ones destiny, why do we have to pass through all this phase, if No, what does destiny means and how do one knows what he is destined for outside his profession or within his profession.

Biblically, ones destiny is predetermined even before birth, as in the case of Jeremiah (Jeremiah 1:5), but then our eyes are blinded from it by our worries for fame, riches , pleasures , ideologies etc. And conforming to these, we twist destiny for profession, riches , fame and ones we get them, we keep searching for more, loosing track with our God given destiny or his purpose over our life.

In simple form, destiny is God's purpose for your life. It is your appointed or ordained future. Destiny is what God has predetermined you to be and to become, in His divine will.

And to Know these you have to acknowledge God into your life and give him the wheel to ride you through your journey of life, seeking for his will in everything.

Path to your destiny starts with fear of God and not becoming a doctor, lawyer , pharmacist or singer and ends with making impact to your generation. If at the course of your career , people come to Glorify God then you're at your point of call.

Destiny has little to do with education though education is needed that one could stand out in the society.

Our destiny can be altered, either away or toward it depending on the path we choose to follow. If we choose evil, we get our destiny destroyed, if we choose good, we build on our destiny. The closer we are to God ,the closer we get to know God's mind over us.

Cases of people who lived up to their destiny are people who followed God's path. One could live rich and fame but living outside his destiny and another poor but living in line with God's destinied will.
