The heart that you gave I just had to break,
You gave your all but you know it wasn't enough;
You risked everything but the road's still rough
Instead my dreams meant more a lot to me,
You gave me an ultimatum to change for the better,
But sadly still I wanted everything to be in my favor.
And struck you inside with unforgivable sorrow
Even if I wanted to tears just couldn't flow from my eyes
I didn't want to deceive you with my little lies
The precious part of me that I just couldn't give
If you think the wrong timing was just passing,
Trust me it's not time but my heart fleeing
But I prayed to be honest and true to the One above.
I only want you to live your life with glee,
With hopes you won't ever look back and just forget me.
Someone who will give their whole being to you,
You deserve a love that fulfills your blissful destiny,
With all that I have done and for all that I have done, I truly am sorry.
