SKYCRAPERS

In life, there are persons who stand tall; this height sets them apart, as they radiate out grace widely. we hardly find persons of this breed in life.
Such persons can be likened to skyscrapers. ever since i was young, even till now , i have always been fascinated by skyscrapers. i usually asked many willing ears during my tender days a lot of questions about the skyscraper: ‘’why is it so tall? Is it going to fall? How was it built?’’ etc. I got answers like ‘’it is built tall for special purposes; it cannot fall because it was fortified with strong foundation and hard building materials; it was built by professionals, with high technicality etc.
I discovered that Skyscrapers are rare buildings and you can only find in top ladder societies; the top is where they belong. They operate a high class system like eagles. They are people of same makeup, like ‘’birds of a feather’’, hence you see them flock together.
A basic unfortunate characteristic about the crowded structures is the overshadowing effect they endure from neighbouring skyscrapers. It happens that just a single Skyscraper would cast an intimidating shadow over as many average buildings. At most times of the day, the skyscrapers deny average buildings access to direct sunlight. They take in and enjoy the richness of sunlight at the expense of the pitiable average structures. This is same way the Skyscraper men exploit resources, wealth and privileges at the expense ofth average men.
Hence,from the above articulations, I cannot but reaffirm that i do not want to be average.How about you reading this?
Before capping my pen, I must direct our mind to a very primary and distinguishing feature regarding our aim to be like skyscrapers. It is about the foundation.
I have received remarkable explanations from Civil Engineers in the course of my investigation about the Skyscraper. Since I aim to be one, it is thus good I know what it takes to be. A striking explanation goes thus: ‘’First, we know we want to build a Skyscraper. With this knowledge, we are able to build strong foundation that can ensure the project is successful. If we build a kind of foundation that matches a bungalow dor a Skyscraper, the building will collapse.
This is true, it is said that “to be fore warned is to be fore armed”. What it takes the average person to reach his or her destination cannot be equal to what it will cost you to reach your destination, which is farther. You must burn more fuel.
You require high technicality and discipline, like the process of building a skyscraper.
