Feeling Hungover
I got up this morning feeling a little worse for ware. After a very late night and too much lager, it was obvious I was going to feel rough. I definitely don’t do late nights. I always need to eat and drink when I get up feeling like that.
Breakfast - toast with butter, Black coffee and a can of Pepsi max and some headache tablets
I needed to get ready as I was going swimming with some of my family before I had to go to work. I couldn’t be bothered to make a proper packed lunch so I just grabbed so junk food.
Lunch - 2 packets of cheddars, a banana and a bottle of strawberry water
By the time I finished work I was starving because I hadn’t eaten anything substantial, my husband was cooking a Sunday roast but that wasn’t ready when I got home so I snacked on some red Gloucester with onion and chive cheese.
Dinner - roast beef, mashed potatoes, peas, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, parsnips, Yorkshire pudding and gravy
Drinks - lots of water

Wow! The combination of late night and excess lager is a sure invitation for a hangover. I've been there. My effective strategy for combating hangover is to have a can of same brand of lager first thing in the morning. It works like magic as the head and the entire system clear up within minutes. You're then strong and ready to go for the day. Also, because the system was loaded with alcohol the previous night it makes sense to take as much water as possible through out the day to detoxify. It's helpful to avoid junk food on this very day as the system is already struggling with toxic materials. Finally, if you're hungry and must quickly nibble on something, make it fresh fruits. Your intake of bananas was a winning strategy. You also need to watch the heavy calorie intake at dinner. My one penny thought!
Thanks for the advice it is greatly appreciated although there is no way I could drink lager today! Lol
Hahaha!
