Robot Sofia coming to Dhaka

Robot Sophia of human class is going to visit Bangladesh in the artificial intelligence industry worldwide . Sophia will be participating in the Digital World Festival of South Asia's biggest technology festival starting on December 6th this year . Bangladesh IT Department confirmed these information.
State Minister for Information Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak said on Sunday that on November 11, Robot Sophia was invited to come to the Digital World 2017 exhibition at a press conference held at Janata Tower Software Technology Park in Karwan Bazar .
Advertising and Marketing Agency Gray Advertising Bangladesh is organizing Bangladesh Sofia and is sponsored by Islami Bank Bangladesh.
Sofia will participate in two sessions of the largest ICT event in Southeast Asia, including questions and answers sessions. David Hanson, the creator of this robot, will come to Dhaka with Sofia. Hanson will present a key note focusing on Robotics and Artificial Intelligence of ICT Event.
Robot Sophia was activated on April 19, 2015. Recently, this robot was granted citizenship of Saudi Arabia, which is widely criticized worldwide. Another interesting fact about the so-called robot is that in an interview, Sofia says that she wants to build her own family. Not only that, Sofia also said that every robot wants to be the parent of the child. So robots need to have children.
The Hong Kong-based company Hanson Robotics Robot has developed in a way that can answer questions. And worldwide media also interviewed this robot.
