Color Challenge - Thursday Green - Vibrant Green Leaves

For my entry into today's colorchallenge, I am sharing a photo that I took this afternoon again while tending to and watering the plants in my backyard. This one was taken of one of the leafy plants that we have (I know, I know, what a lame description...but I honestly have no idea what type of plant this is at all especially because it has no obvious flowers...).

After taking this photo, I was very impressed with myself - this is by far my favorite photo that I've captured to date! Although it is very simplistic, I am amazed by the high quality and the ability of my Google Pixel 2 camera to pick up so many complex details! This photo reminds me of something you might see in a science textbook or some other biology-related resource! I am once again very amazed and impressed by just how well smartphones are getting at capturing many of the details that a professional camera would be capable of. The greens are so vibrant in this shot, I figured this would definitely be a fitting photo to share in honour of the Thursday Green colorchallenge!
