Forgive me, i'm not 100% yet.

I'M FINALLY RECOVERED (SOMEWHAT) FROM BEING SICK! WHILE OUT, THIS THOUGHT CAME TO ME!

Depending on how you present yourself, you can profit off of other's fantasies! It's true! This is something that hit me over the weekend! It sounds like something many content creators should know but, believe it or not, not a lot of people REALIZE it!

Weekend before last, it dawned on me over the years that many people played me like a fool by profiting off of my fantasies about them and/or what they do. Since I had big feelings towards these people and their cause(es), I felt obligated to fund them and support it! Little did I know, they were selling me something that wasn't real; in the back of mind, it felt that way!

WHERE DID THIS ATTITUDE COME FROM?

There were two books I remember reading: SO GOOD, THEY CAN'T IGNORE YOU BY CAL NEWPORT and Impossible to Ignore: Creating Memorable Content to Influence Decisions by Dr. Carmen Simon.

Both of these books talk about how to get people attracted to you and your cause. When I first read them, I understood the basic concept of just being good at what you do. Two years go by and various moments with certain people happen, it occurred to me there was more to it.

This concept is done greatly by people that make travel videos. It's also done by female streamers on Twitch that have nothing other than their bodies to present to lonely men on the internet (not shaming them, just stating facts).

DOES THIS CONCEPT WORK?

So far, yes! Last Monday, I went back to live streaming and I had people give me donations left and right, thanking me for being back in the IRL section! You can work this to your advantage any kind of way! Just know what your strengths and weaknesses are and go from there!
