BLOOD IN THE STREETS!

It's that time of year again in Crypto Land.

NOTE TO NEWBS: No asset triples in 3 months without some kind of correction, especially when the highest legislature in the land has decided to spend quite some considerable time discussing the potential economic impacts of Bitcoin and Libra before they break for the summer.

After next week, the House of Representatives will not meet again for a good long while. The Senate then meets for an additional week. Then both houses reconvene on September 9. But now that Trump has politicized the topic of bitcoin I guess it's time for everybody to line up some sound bites on both sides of the issue!

You'd think there'd be more pressing issues to discuss than little old bitcoin and its less than $200 billion market cap. I'm thinking that maybe... just maybe.... that the China trade war, potential global economic slowdown, the continuing rash of gun massacres, and so on... One would think that bitcoin and Libra are less important than those issues. But apparently they're not. Or maybe it's just a new topic that politicians need to make their stand on. So here we are:

There be blood in the streets.

Bitcoin is down a third from its recent highs around $14,000 and Ethereum is fighting to stay above water at $200. I hope everyone AT LEAST TOOK SOME PROFITS from the recent runup because now... That's right

Here we are. The point where everybody and their mother invokes what Rothschild, Buffett, etc. are always quoted as saying (whether they said it or not):

This is completely normal in Crypto Land.
