FLU SHOT??

Does the flu shot really work or does it weaken your immune system?
I feel this could be a common topic in Australia and other parts of the world where flu shots are available. I received the flu shot in late march this year, caught a cold at the end of April followed by full blown influenza for three months and now just getting better.
I thought the shot was supposed to cover influenza!! maybe not. Is this just another medical money maker?

Anyway I still reckon us Aussie blokes get "Man Flu" ten times worse than the ladies.
