My favourite vegetable by @shance-light
Hello beautiful steemians, hope we are all doing great. Thanks to @steemfarm-market for organizing this contest.
I am @shance-light, i am a nurse but farming is one integral part of our economy that we can't avoid and cultivating vegetables are relatively simple.
There are many types of vegetables but the one i am going to write is called Huckleberry vegetable

Best cultural practices to improve yields
In my locality, the following can be used:
- fowl dung: this is the most common natural manure used, it is spread on the farm to improve soil fertility .
- watering; if its a dry season, irrigation or watering of the farm is neccessary to keep it fresh
- weeding; just like every other farm, it is necessary to weed the farm
Huckleberry can also be grown in gardens and does not necessarily need any fertilizer or chemicals of any sort.
It can be prepared in so many different methods, with cocoyams, plantains, and corn fufu. The widest method is "kati kati"
